Six Sentence Sunday: Unspoken Love

A quick look at the perspective of Jeharv in Deathhawk's Betrayal
Jeharv remembered the day Astarl changed from girl to woman for him. Already sick, he had aged beyond his years. Would she look at him differently if he was healthy again, if he were young again?
You never tried to learn how she looked at you now.
There was no point. Astarl was... difficult and he was dying.

Oh, I can feel his pain and understand the whole "not good enough because" thing. Nicely written, Ciara. :)

That was fantastic. When and where can I get my hands on the book? I am jumping at the chance to read it.

Oh, good, cause this character is a tough one to write and I desperately need him to have some reader sympathy at the beginning of the book!

Thanks, Krystal! This probably means readers will relate to his motivations as well.

While I'm delighted at your reaction unfortunately the manuscript is still under consideration Harper Collins. If it's not accepted, it's back to the drawing board, and if it is... well, you know how long it takes to get to the shelves!

Thank you. I added this bit in the last round of edits so I'm glad it's achieved what it was supposed to.

Wow, I think there's more sadness there than I realised!

Thanks, I'm only just realising now that this bit was even better than I thought *slaps forehead* Oh well, I guess that means it's doing its job!

What happens is probably not at all what you'd expect! :-)
